Senior Partner
Alvaro Collas is a Senior Partner with Kingsley Gate Partners. Alvaro brings more than 25 years of experience in advising executives and companies, in various stages, on accelerating growth through people, innovation, technology, and sustainability practices.
The experience of being an HR-tech startup cofounder, focused on transforming the way people connect with jobs in the Americas, and an Endeavor entrepreneur and mentor, allowed Alvaro to be at the forefront of talent acquisition practices, methods, and technologies in fast-paced, hands-on environments. In the last few years, he built a successful consultancy focused on redefining talent acquisition and retention, and learning and development practices.
Prior to joining Kingsley Gate, Alvaro was a Partner at a global executive search firm working in various industries such as Technology, Financial and Professional Services, and Extractives. He has placed executives and professionals across all industries and functional areas in Latin America. He is also an HR tech startup cofounder, and Endeavor Entrepreneur and Mentor. Alvaro worked at PwC in the Toronto, Canada and Lima, Peru offices, participating in large e-Procurement implementation projects and leading the Sustainability practice. He also worked at Oracle in Technology sales for the energy sector and at Citi as Relationship Manager for the mining sector and large multinationals.
He attended Western University in Ontario, Canada, where he earned his B.A. degree in Economics. Recently he graduated from the Digital Business Leadership Program at Columbia Business School.
