Lowe’s Appoints its Newest Human Resources Leaders

Kingsley Gate Partners is pleased to have partnered with Lowe’s Companies Inc., a Fortune 25 retail company specializing in home improvement, to successfully place two senior human resources leaders as of October 2020. These searches were led by our Senior Partner and Global HR Practice Leader, Mike Bergen.

Mohith Mohan as Senior Director, Human Resources based in Bangalore

Mohith is an experienced management professional with a demonstrated history of working in the financial and retail industry. He is skilled in Consulting, Organizational Strategy, Coaching and Building Organizations.

Mohith is joining Lowe’s from Hudson Bay’s Company where he was the Divisional Vice President and Site Leader for nearly four years. He was instrumental in building and leading the HBC India office as a Site Leader with a key focus on designing a strong operating model to deliver sound customer experience. Prior to that, Mohith has held various leadership positions at Fidelity Investments and Yahoo!

He completed his MBA in Human Resources from Fairleigh Dickinson University and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from RV College of Engineering in India. Mohith is based in Bengaluru, India.

Jason Weakland as Senior Director, Executive Compensation based in Chicago.

Jason brings over 25 years of HR experience to Lowe’s. He was previously the Director, Executive Compensation in the human resources function at Capital One.

Prior to joining Capital One, Jason worked in Accenture plc’s Total Rewards Center of Expertise where he supervised the administration of global equity programs for over 200,000 employees in over 50 countries, including Accenture’s LTI equity grant programs, stock purchase programs and semi-annual dividends. Jason also directed cross-functional Accenture teams on special equity-related projects (e.g., China SAFE compliance, the incorporation of Accenture plc to Ireland, and delivery of managing director annual total reward outcomes). Jason helped found and currently leads the Equity Compensation Networking Group (ECNG), a by invitation only networking group for Executive Compensation and stock plan managers.

Jason is a certified Executive Compensation professional (CECP), a certified equity professional (CEP) and holds both Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Sociology degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
