Gail is a Partner with Kingsley Gate serving clients across our Consumer, Retail, and Professional Services portfolios.
Gail brings more than 25 years of experience in executive search to the firm. Her diversity of experience with retained firms and Fortune 500 companies provides unique insight as a talent partner having sat on both sides of the desk. She has an ability to manage complex processes in dynamic, competitive and high growth environments and is adept at building relationships internally among leadership teams and multiple stakeholders. She is known as a results oriented, creative problem solver committed to quality, service, and profitability for her clients.
Prior to joining Kingsley Gate, Gail held leadership roles at HP, The Home Depot, McKinsey & Company, and L Brands where she helped to launch, build, and manage in-house executive search teams. During this time Gail was exposed to complex hiring initiatives resulting from CEO and management transitions, company reorganizations, PE takeovers, and IPOs. In addition, Gail was a member of the Professional Services practice at Korn Ferry International and also served as a Principal at Herbert Mines Associates, the largest retained executive search firm focused exclusively on consumer and retail industries. Gail has executed senior level searches including CFO, Chief Merchants, Chief Marketing Officer, CHRO, DE&I, Chief Legal Officer, CIO/CTO, President, COO, CEO, and Partner/Sr. Partner. Gail began her career as a compensation consultant with Mercer Management Consulting developing executive compensation surveys and job descriptions. She received her undergraduate degree from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.
Gail enjoys working with her clients on topics including decision making, talent strategy and selection, team collaboration, integration and onboarding. She can help you define recruiting priorities that address your aspirations for growth, generate new strategies for identifying, engaging, and cultivating talent, and create a best-in-class experience for your candidates and internal stakeholders. Gail is based out of our Cleveland, Ohio office. She remains engaged in supporting programs through Buddy up for Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Head for the Cure Foundation.
