Jose Revilla is a Partner with Kingsley Gate Partners. Jose developed his professional career in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries, with over 20 years of experience in executive roles in multiple countries in Latin America and the US, including Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil, reshaping and leading businesses at both, local country operations and regional business strategy levels.
Jose began his career at IBM where he developed a successful international career. In 2005 he was appointed as GM of Lenovo Spanish South America, and two years later, he joined Telefonica as VP of the Large Enterprise Business Segment. He also led the Small & Medium Business Segment and the Consumer Premium Segment businesses. In his last stage with Telefonica, Jose served as the LatAm Regional Director for the Small & Medium Business Segment, based in Sao Paulo.
His strong leadership and operating background give him the ability to consult with CEO’s, board members, and other senior executives to provide value as a search professional. His over 20 years of experience in building and leading executive teams and cross-functional organizations in different countries and regions, gives him the experience to help companies solve client organizational challenges, such as recruiting top executives capable of transforming and leading businesses as well as facing cultural transformation and change management challenges.
Most recently, Jose acted as a Board Member of various family-owned companies and as a Consultant and Investor, helping develop Fintechs and Start-Ups. He also directed leadership alignment workshops for IBM Latam in Sao Paulo, Microsoft Latam in Fort Lauderdale and Goldfields Mining Company in Lima.
Jose has a BS degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Lima and the Board Member Specialization certification from the PAD School of the Universidad de Piura in Lima in agreement with the IESE of Spain.
Jose speaks Spanish and English and has effective communication skills in Portuguese. He is based in Lima, Peru.
