Dan serves as a Partner with Kingsley Gate, bringing over a decade of experience in executive search and a deep focus on middle-market companies. He specializes in partnering with top-tier private equity firms, independent sponsors, and family offices who value talent above all else. In his role, Dan leverages his industry experience to help organizations identify and secure the best talent for their portfolio companies. His focus is on Board, C-suite, and key direct reports within the industrial sector.

Dan’s passion for helping others and his innate ability to connect trusted individuals for a mutually beneficial outcome are what led him to his career in recruiting. With a blend of curiosity, candor, and a consultative, hands-on approach, Dan has successfully led over 150 searches across diverse functional areas and sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, business services, food & beverage, consumer products, and healthcare. His relentless commitment to adding value and delivering results has made him a trusted partner to his clients again and again.

Before joining Kingsley Gate, Dan worked at two boutique search firms partnering with startups to Fortune 500 companies across various industries. Prior to entering the recruiting industry, Dan consulted with businesses of all sizes in areas such as payroll, HR, and insurance.

Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Marquette University. He serves on the Board of Lisle Savings Bank and is a committee member of the Midwest Capital Connection for ACG Chicago.

A decision that had a huge impact on your life
Following in my Dad’s footsteps, I originally went to college to become a Dentist. The Summer before my senior year, I took an Anatomy class and the second they rolled the cadaver in, I decided dentistry wasn’t for me. While finishing out my Biology degree, I got an internship selling tickets for the Milwaukee Bucks and never looked back from Sales after that. It’s been a lot more fun and rewarding for me to solve problems with my clients than filling cavities!”
