Previously, Spencer served as the Founder and Managing Director of MBK Search, where he established a specialized practice focused on governance, risk, and compliance recruiting. Before founding MBK, Spencer held senior leadership positions including Head of Operational Risk Management at Bridgewater Associates and Head of Risk - Americas at ICAP, Plc.
His industry background also includes experience as a Venture Capital Investor at WFD Ventures, LLC. With a client-centric approach, Spencer leverages his firsthand industry experience and extensive network to deliver exceptional talent solutions.
His practice spans multiple sectors including banking, asset management, insurance, fintech, and corporate environments. Spencer specializes in C-suite and senior executive placements including Chief Risk Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, Heads of Audit, and their direct reports.
