Kara Hennessey is a Vice President in Kingsley Gate’s Financial Services Practice. She brings a specialized focus on placing senior executives in Financial Services and FinTech.

Kara joined Kingsley Gate in 2018, before joining True Search, where she was a Principal with a focus on placing CEOs and other C-Suite executives at Private Equity and Venture Capital-backed FinTech companies. She rejoined Kingsley Gate in 2024, working with global asset management clients on strategic hires across operating, capital raising, marketing and investment roles. She started her career in IR and Marketing at Institutional Investor and Morgan Stanley

Kara attended Fairfield University Dolan School of Business. She sits in Kingsley Gate’s New York office.
