J.L. has nearly 20 years of experience in both Fortune 300 Corporate HR Leadership and global Top-Five retained executive search. His clients and industry recognize him for his ability to develop winning custom-made strategies in addressing unique talent needs.

Prior to joining Kingsley Gate, J.L. served as CEO and Managing Director of GattiHR – a premier HR Specialized search firm. Having worked with hundreds of both publicly traded and privately held clients across a variety of industries, J.L. has developed a reputation as a thought leader and has built strong trusted partnerships, offering deep expertise and delivering an unsurpassed level of consultation and care to clients, focusing on quality, speed and results. He specializes in recruiting HR Executives and other impactful and transformational leadership roles.

J.L. holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in Economics. He is active within the community and supports numerous organizations including the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society. He is also a proud supporter of the University of Iowa Alumni Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Iowa Club.
