Alan Mac Donald is a Senior Partner with Kingsley Gate.

With 25+ years of professional experience in senior management roles, coupled with extensive executive search expertise, he is adept at providing effective solutions for a wide range of clients across major industries, which include retail, FMCG, financial services, industrial, healthcare, and government. He also possesses significant knowledge and experience in search activities related to the real estate and construction industries.

Previously, Alan was a Partner at Caldwell and CTPartners in their Santiago offices, specializing in the recruitment of senior executives and board members. His clients included prestigious local, regional, and multinational organizations. He has recruited hundreds of senior general management and key executives responsible for major growth initiatives inside their companies, completing assignments for managers and directors of many different functional areas.

Before entering the executive search industry, Alan began his professional career at the multinational company EXXON, followed by a senior management position in FORUS, a shoe retail company owner of licenses as Hush Puppies, Caterpillar, Merrell, and Nine West. He continued his career as Chief Executive Officer of an important Real Estate company and developed major projects in Santiago, Chile. He returned to the Retail Industry as Chief Commercial Officer of Johnson’s, where he was responsible for business development and rebranding of this US$500 million sales company.

Alan received a degree in commercial engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
