Untamed  ·  Episode 01

How senior women leaders are rewriting the rules at the top

With Bregje “Bee” Meuwissen, Group CPO, Cint

Some of the most important leadership decisions are never announced, they’re made quietly, months before anyone notices. In this episode, Bregje “Bee” Meuwissen, Group Chief People Officer at Cint joins Christine Sobhani, Senior Partner at Kingsley Gate to explore the invisible calculation many senior women make before they resign: weighing workplace politics, stalled progression, and the emotional cost of continuing to navigate systems that no longer serve them. It’s a conversation about the reasons organizations rarely hear, even during an exit interview.

Beyond that, Bee examines how AI is reshaping executive leadership by making information more accessible than ever, reducing the value of leaders who built authority through knowledge alone. The discussion concludes with a fresh perspective on mentorship arguing that the relationships that truly advance women’s careers are built on advocacy, opportunity, and accountability, not informal conversations over coffee.

Inside the conversation

01

The exit interview answers senior women never give, and why HR keeps writing down the wrong reason

02

“I only want to work with good humans.” The question senior women now ask before they even read the job spec

03

The day Bee swapped “I think”, for “ I believe,” and what it did to how she was heard in the room

04

The leadership advantage AI has quietly taken away, and the one it has handed back

05

The new Anthropic report finding that surprised Bee, and what it means for mid-career women right now

06

Why the most useful kind of mentorship is the kind that stops being a coffee

Meet our guest

Bregje “Bee” Meuwissen

Group CPO, People, Legal & Marketing, Cint

Bee runs three of the functions most companies keep in separate corners of the building. At Cint, a research-tech business spanning 18 countries and 800 people,
that scope is deliberate. The question driving her work is short and not at all easy: when intelligent systems start doing real work, what does the human organisation
need to become?

She has chased a version of that question through Juniper Networks, Travelport and IDEMIA, across EMEA, Asia, the US and the Middle East, through high-growth phases, post-acquisition integration, and the kind of restructuring no clean framework survives. She is Dutch by origin, based in Barcelona, and has built her career on a belief that a company can be technology-forward and deeply human at the same time, but only if you architect for both on purpose.

Meet our host

Christine Sobhani

Senior Partner, Kingsley Gate

Twenty-five years inside the rooms where the most consequential people decisions get made. Who runs the function. Who joins the board. Who gets the next chapter and who doesn’t.

Based in New York, Christine focuses on the c-suite and leadership mandates across technology, consumer markets, and private equity, and works closely with PE and VC firms on the leadership calls that shape portfolio performance. She sits on the Board of United Way New York City and mentors actively with the Iranian American Women Foundation.

Untamed is what happens when she puts down the structured interview questions and starts asking the real ones.

About Untamed

Most leadership stories get told once they’re polished. Untamed catches them earlier. Christine sits down with senior leaders to talk about the calls that didn’t fit the playbook, the moments that made them uncomfortable, and the decisions that quietly changed how they lead. The part that usually gets edited out.
