Partner
Thomas Cope is a Partner with Kingsley Gate Partners. Thomas specializes in executive recruiting for board and c-level executives within the global financial services industry.

Before joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Thomas led the financial services practice in Singapore for Odgers Berndtson, advising banks, asset & wealth managers, principal investors and their portfolio companies.

Previously, he spent six years at Korn Ferry in London, Nairobi and Singapore latterly building out the private equity practice in Asia. He was responsible for driving the Asia-wide business development strategy for financial sponsors and, as part of the board practice, he managed board recruitment & CEO succession projects across multiple industries. Before relocating to Singapore, he was based in London, executing searches throughout EMEA. In 2016, Thomas assisted with the integration of a regional alliance partner in Nairobi.

Thomas entered into the executive search business in 2009 and spent his early career with a boutique firm in Singapore and London.

Thomas earned a MSc Management & Organisational Change from Birkbeck College, University of London and a BA (Hons) Classics from Bristol University. He is based in our Singapore location.
