Thomas Cope Joins Kingsley Gate Partners
Firm Deepens Presence in South Asia Market
Kingsley Gate Partners, the leader in global executive search that ensures a lasting fit between clients and placed candidates through its proprietary framework, Synchronous Fit, today announced that Thomas Cope has joined the firm as a partner based in Singapore.
Thomas brings extensive experience specializing in executive recruiting for board and c-level executives within the global financial services industry.
“We have been active in the Asia market for the past five years, and we are excited to expand our presence in Singapore to further serve our clients in the region,” said Kingsley Gate Partners’ Office of the CEO. “Thomas brings extensive experience in banking, asset and wealth management, private equity, and organizational change, leadership and strategy.”
Prior to joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Thomas led the financial services practice in Singapore for Odgers Berndtson, advising banks, asset & wealth managers, principal investors, and their portfolio companies. Previously, he spent six years at Korn Ferry in Singapore, where he built out the private equity practice in Asia. He was responsible for driving the Asia-wide business development strategy for financial sponsors and, as part of the board practice, he managed board recruitment & CEO succession projects across multiple industries.

Thomas entered the executive search business in 2009 and spent his early career with a boutique firm in Singapore and London. He earned an MSc in Management & Organizational Change from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a BA (Hons) Classics from Bristol University.
