JetBlue Appoints Al Spencer as Vice President, Controller

Al Spencer has been named JetBlue’s new vice president, and controller. Spencer will be in charge of JetBlue’s corporate accounting, tax, payroll, accounts payable and fraud, and revenue accounting teams. He will report to JetBlue’s chief financial officer, Ursula Hurley. Spencer joins JetBlue from Air Liquide, a publicly-traded gas manufacturer based in Paris, where he was deputy CFO North America and Corporate Controller since 2017.

JetBlue Airways is a major American low-cost airline, and the seventh-largest airline in North America by passengers carried.

JetBlue ended the fourth quarter of 2021 with approximately $2.8 billion in unrestricted cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments.
