Monroe Capital Appoints Gila Cohen as MD, Head of Global Institutional Partnerships

Gila Cohen has joined Monroe Capital LLC as Managing Director, Head of Global Institutional Partnerships, based in the firm’s New York office. She will be in charge of new initiatives to broaden Monroe’s global footprint among institutional investors, with a focus on the firm’s high growth Opportunistic and Real Estateprivate credit areas. Before joining Monroe, Gila was Chief Investment Strategy Officer at MUFG (USA), where she was in charge of advising, directing, and governing the firm’s strategic alternatives investment portfolio, as well as playing a strategic role in the firm’s ESG and DEI missions.

Monroe Capital is a provider of senior and junior debt and equity co-investments to middle-market companies in the U.S. and Canada.

Monroe’s assets under management increased by 35% to $12.7 billion as of December 31, 2021.
