Cummins Announces Executive Changes
Cummins has announced the following leadership appointments, effective March 1, 2021:
- Tony Satterthwaite has been elected Vice Chairman of the company. He has had a 33-year tenure with the company, serving in numerous operations leadership roles throughout his career. He most recently served the company as President and Chief Operating Officer. He has previously held such positions as President of Power Generation and President of the Distribution Business. He began his career with Schlumberger as an Engineer.
- Jennifer Rumsey has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. She has served the company in various capacities over the last 21 years, holding leadership positions across advanced engineering, product development, and quality. She was most recently President of the Components business. Previously, she served in such roles as Vice President of Engineering for the Engine Business and Chief Technical Officer. Jennifer supersedes Tony Satterthwaite, who is transitioning to Vice Chairman.
Cummins, headquartered in Columbus, IN, designs, manufactures, distributes and services diesel and natural gas engines. Currently, the company has a workforce of 61,600 people. Cummins generated $23.6 billion in revenue for 2019.
