General Mills Appoints Karen Wilson Thissen as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Karen Wilson Thissen has been named general counsel and corporate secretary of General Mills, effective June 6. Karen is a 29-year legal veteran who most recently served as general counsel and executive vice president at Ameriprise Financial, Inc. She takes over for Richard Allendorf, who announced his retirement in August.

General Mills, Inc. is an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer foods sold through retail stores.

General Mills’ annual revenue for 2021 was $18.127B, a 2.84% increase from 2020.
