Viasat Announces Senior Leadership Changes

Viasat has announced the following changes to its Leadership Team: 

• Mark Dankberg, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, has been appointed to the company’s newly-created Executive Chairman role. He will maintain his current role as Chairman of the Board, but will step down as Chief Executive Officer.

• Rick Baldridge will succeed Mark Dankberg as President and Chief Executive Officer. He has been with Viasat since 1999, having served in roles such as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and President. Rick’s earlier career included various executive level roles with Raytheon and General Dynamics.
