Travis Merrill Named Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer for Resideo Technologies

Resideo Technologies has hired Travis Merrill as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer. He is a seasoned executive in corporate strategy, marketing and general management, especially across the consumer, commercial and industrial sectors. In this newly-created position, Travis will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer, Jay Geldmacher. Previously, he served FLIR Systems as President of the Commercial Business Unit and Chief Marketing Officer. He also held various roles with Samsung Electronics, where he ultimately served as Vice President of the U.S. Tablet division. Earlier in his career, he also had stints with Covad Communications and CenturyLink.

Headquartered in Austin, TX, the company currently employs over 13,000 individuals. Resideo posted annual sales of $5.0 billion in 2019.
