Macy’s Announces Executive Changes
Macy’s recently announced the following changes to its senior leadership team:
- Laura Miller will join as Chief Information Officer on March 15, 2021. She will report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Jeffrey Gennette. She was previously Chief Information Officer for InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG). Laura has also held senior leadership roles with First Data and TD Ameritrade. She succeeds Naveen Krishna, who is stepping down as Chief Technology Officer.
- Chuck DiGiovanna has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Real Estate. Prior to Macy’s, he served Westfield as Senior Vice President of Development, Northeast Region Business Leader. Chuck will now report to Chief Financial Officer, Adrian V. Mitchell. He supersedes Douglas W. Sesler, who is stepping down from the position.
- John Harper announced he will resign from the company and his current role as Chief Operations Officer on August 1, 2021. With John’s departure, the company has announced that it will eliminate the Chief Operations Officer role. As a result, beginning March 15, 2021, both Marc Mastronardi, Chief Stores Officer, and Dennis Mullahy, Chief Supply Chain Officer, will report to Chief Executive Officer, Jeffrey Gennette.
