Katherine Ainley to Lead as Chief Executive Officer for Ericsson UK & Ireland

Ericsson has hired Katherine Ainley as Chief Executive Officer of the UK and Ireland, effective February 2021. She will succeed John Griffin, who has held the role on an Interim basis and will resume his role Country Manager for Ireland. Katherine joins from BT, where she most recently served as Managing Director of Ventures. She has served BT in several leadership roles throughout her tenure, including leading its subsidiary Tikit as Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Manager with Llloyds TSB. She began her career with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a Consultant.
