
John Ternus Appointed Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering
Apple has promoted John Ternus to Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering and executive team member. He has held several roles within product design over the last two decades, most recently serving as Vice President of Hardware Engineering. He has had responsibility for the hardware engineering of several innovative products, such as the first generation AirPods®, all iPad generations, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. John supersedes Dan Riccio as Head of Hardware Engineering as Dan transitions to another undisclosed role with the company. Prior to Apple, John was an Engineer with Virtual Research Inc.
