Jim Shelton Joins Duolingo Board of Directors

Duolingo has elected Jim Shelton to its Board of Directors. Jim’s career has spanned three decades of work in philanthropic, social impact, and education-focused capacities. He is currently Chief Investment & Impact Officer for Blue Meridian Partners. He has notably served as President of Education for Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, President and Chief Impact Officer for 2U, Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer for the US Department of Education, and Program Director for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
