James C. Dalton Elected to Trimble’s Board of Directors

Trimble has selected James C. Dalton as a Member of its Board of Directors. James retired as Director of Civil Works for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in December 2019. During his career, he served USACE in several capacities, including as Chief of the Engineering and Construction Division, team leader for the South Atlantic Division and South Pacific Division Regional Integration Team (RIT), Chair for the USACE Climate Change Adaptation Committee, and leader for the USACE’s Resilience Initiative. James has been the recipient of numerous awards, including: the American Society of Civil Engineers Federal Engineer of the Year in 2017, Presidential Rank Award – Distinguished Executive in 2014, Presidential Rank Award – Meritorious Executive in 2009, Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce Public Service Award in 2009 and Black Engineer of the Year Award for Career Achievement in 2006.
