
Guru Venkatachalam Promoted to VMware’s Chief Technology Officer for APJ
VMware has elevated Guru Venkatachalam to Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Asia Pacific & Japan. He most recently served as VMware’s Vice President of Cloud Architecture for Asia Pacific and Japan, as well as a Member of the Office of the CTO. He previously served Citi over the course of two decades in roles of increasing IT leadership capacity, ultimately as Managing Director / Global Engineering Head of End User Computing & Asia CTO, Architecture & Engineering. He has also held positions with Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS), Packard Bell, and Pertech Computers.
