GitLab Announces Leadership Appointments

GitLab recently announced the following leadership appointments:

• Wendy Nice Barnes joins GitLab as Chief People Officer. Her leadership experience includes serving as Chief Human Resources Officer for Palo Alto Networks and Vice President of Human Resources for eHealth. She has also held senior human resources leadership roles with Netflix and E*TRADE.

• Merline Saintil has been appointed to GitLab’s Board of Directors. She is also on the Boards of Directors for Lightspeed, Alkami Technology, Banner Corporation, and ShotSpotter. Merline’s notable accomplishments include being named one of the Most Influential Corporate Board Directors by Women Inc., serving as a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD),  and earning a Lifetime Achievement Award by Girls in Tech. She has held several leadership roles throughout her career, including those with Intuit, Yahoo!, PayPal, Adobe, Joyent and Sun Microsystems.
