David West Named President of Arrow Electronics’ Global Components Business

Arrow Electronics has appointed David West Senior Vice President of its Global Components unit. In this new role, he will report to Michael J. Long, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer. David has been with the company for over two decades, serving in various leadership roles throughout his tenure. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Global Supplier Marketing and Engineering. He began his career with AMD, where he ultimately became Director of Worldwide Distribution. David supersedes Andy King, who announced he will be retiring on December 31, 2020.
