ANSYS Announces Leadership Changes

ANSYS has announced the following executive changes, effective March 1, 2021:

  • Nicole Anasenes has stepped down as a Member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee. She has been immediately appointed Senior Vice President for ANSYS, and will transition to Chief Financial Officer on March 1, 2021. Nicole formerly led Squarespace as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She also spent time with IBM in various roles, such as leading the software middleware business and cloud business as Chief Financial Officer.
  • Maria Shields will step down as Chief Financial Officer in order to become Senior Vice President of Administration, where she will lead human resources, information technology, procurement and real estate. Maria has spent the majority of her career with ANSYS, including roles as Vice President and Controller. Earlier in her career, she served Deloitte and Touche LLP as an Audit Manager.
