Royal Mail Plc Announces Executive Changes
Royal Mail Plc has announced the following leadership appointments:
- Simon Thompson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the UK. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of the Board.
- Martin Seidenberg will become a Member of the Board of Directors on April 1, 2021. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of GLS.
- Mick Jeavons has been appointed Chief Financial Officer after serving in the role on an interim basis since May 2020. He will also become a Member of the company’s Board of Directors immediately.
- Stuart Simpson, Interim Chief Executive Officer of the UK, will step down at the end of January 2021, at which point he will leave the company.
- Keith Williams, Interim Executive Chair, will step down and resume his role as Non-Executive Chair.
Royal Mail plc provides postal and delivery services, offering its services in the United Kingdom as well as parts of continental Europe. Headquartered in London, the company has approximately 162,000 employees. Royal Mail reported revenues of 10.58 billion GBP for the full year ended March 29, 2020.
