
Jim Bailey to Lead as Capgemini’s Chief Executive Officer for the Americas
Capgemini has named Jim Bailey Chief Executive Officer of the Americas Strategic Business Unit, focusing on growth and strategic partnerships across North America and Latin America. He will also join the Group’s Executive Board, and will report to Chief Operating Officer, Olivier Sevillia. Having already joined the company to begin the transition, Jim will formally step into his new position on April 1, 2021. He previously had a three-decade career with Accenture, ultimately serving as Senior Managing Director and a Founding Member of Accenture Digital. Jim led the firm’s global mobility and internet-of-things (IoT) practices, in addition to serving as a Member of the Global Leadership Council.
Capgemini provides consulting, technology, professional, and outsourcing services. It is headquartered in Paris, France, employing 270,000 employees in nearly 50 countries. The company generated €14.12 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2019.
