FedEx Announces Executive Changes
FedEx has announced the following changes to its executive team:
- John A. Smith will transition to President and Chief Executive Officer of FedEx Ground from his current role as President and Chief Executive Officer of FedEx Freight. John has had a 21-year tenure with the company thus far, previously serving in such roles as Senior Vice President of Operations. He succeeds Henry J. Meier, who will retire on July 31, 2021.
- Lance D. Moll has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of FedEx Freight. He has had a three-decade career with FedEx Freight so far, most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations. He succeeds John A. Smith, who is transitioning to another executive role with the company.
