Carl Gomez Named Chief Economist and Head of Market Analytics, Canada for CoStar Group

CoStar Group has tapped Carl Gomez as Chief Economist and Head of Market Analytics, Canada. Most recently, Carl was a Senior Vice President for QuadReal Property Group. He is a veteran in the private equity real estate space as an economist and investment strategist. Prior to Quadreal, Carl served Bentall Capital as Vice President and Head of Canadian Research before being promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Economist. His extensive economist experience spans roles with TD Bank, RBC, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and Columbia Pacific Consulting. His early career includes Analyst positions with Phillips, Hager & North and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation.
