Ben Minicucci Promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Alaska Air Group

Alaska Air Group, the parent company of Alaska Airlines, has elevated Ben Minicucci to Chief Executive Officer beginning March 31, 2021. Ben is currently President of Alaska Airlines, as well as a Member of the company’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Brad Tilden, who will be retiring as Chief Executive Officer on the same date. Ben’s promotion takes place as part of the company’s leadership succession plan.

Alaska Air Group is an airline holding company based in SeaTac, WA. The group owns two certificated airlines, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. The company most recently generated $8.8 billion in annual revenue, and currently employs over 24,000 people.
