Ned Desmond to be Senior Operating Partner for SOSV

SOSV has announced that Ned Desmond is joining the firm as a Senior Operating Partner in January 2021. His focus will be on expanding operations for the firm, including marketing and communications initiatives. Ned will report to Sean O’Sullivan, Managing General Partner. Ned most recently founded Sight Tech Global after serving as Chief Operating Officer for TechCrunch. During his tenure with TechCrunch, he oversaw CrunchBase in addition to launching Extra Crunch.
