Microsoft’s Marc Brown Hired as Partner and Head of Growth at EQT

EQT has welcomed Marc Brown as Partner and Head of EQT Growth. Previously, Marc spent two decades with Microsoft, most recently as Corporate Vice President of Corporate Development. During his tenure with Microsoft, he led more than 185 acquisitions (including LinkedIn, GitHub and Minecraft) and 80 strategic equity investments (including Flipkart, Databricks and Graphcore).

The firm, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, has over 700 employees with offices in 16 countries across Europe, APAC and North America. EQT has approximately EUR 46 billion in assets under management.
