Mark Belles to Lead Battery Ventures’ New Behavioral Holdings Platform

Battery Ventures has created a cloud-based platform, Behavioral Holdings, which will be led by Mark Belles. The goal of the new platform is to improve operations for behavioral-health and human-services organizations. Mark joins from Inside Higher Ed, where he led as Chief Executive Officer. He was previously with Relias, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. He has also held executive level roles with such companies as Blackboard and Dimension Data. He began his career as a Global Client Executive with IBM.

Battery Ventures is a global, technology-focused investment firm headquartered in Boston, MA. The company has been steadily increasing its fund size over time, raising a total of $5.8 billion since 2010. Battery Ventures has over 50 investment members, including 12 General Partners.
