KGAL Group Hires Susanna Marttila as its New ESG Officer

Real assets investment house KGAL Group has hired Susanna Marttila as its new ESG officer, as part of the German group’s plans to accelerate a push into more sustainable investing. Susanna was most recently regional head of EMEA for ESG ratings at proxy voting specialist Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). She had also previously overseen the ESG corporate ratings team for extractive, energy and utilities.

KGAL Group is a leading, independent investment and asset manager with an investment volume of €15.2 billion. The investments focus on long-term capital investments for institutional investors in real estate, renewable energy and aircraft leasing.
