Joe Dowling Named Global Co-Head of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management

Blackstone has appointed Joe Dowling as Global Co-Head of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM). He will lead the group in collaboration with John McCormick. Joe will oversee investment initiatives, while John will be responsible for business and investor activities. Joe previously led Brown University’s Investment Officer as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Brown University, he founded and led Narragansett Asset Management as Chief Executive Officer.

Blackstone is a New York-based leading global investment business investing capital on behalf of pension funds, large institutions and individuals. The firm currently has $584 billion in assets under management.
