Jared Melnik Appointed Head of Hotels Acquisitions, Americas for Starwood Capital Group

Starwood Capital Group has named Jared Melnik Managing Director and Head of Hotel Acquisitions for the Americas. His work will focus on acquisition sourcing and execution, targeting the hospitality and leisure sectors. He joins from a 15-year tenure with KSL Capital partners, which culminated in his role as Principal and Investment Committee Member, leading equity and debt investments for the firm’s hotels and leisure operating companies. He began his career as an Analyst with Merrill Lynch.

Starwood Capital Group is a Miami, FL-based private investment firm with a primary focus on global real estate. Since its inception in 1991, the firm has raised over $55 billion of equity capital and currently has in excess of $75 billion of assets under management.
