Eric C. Salzman Named Chief Executive Officer of Safeguard Scientifics

Safeguard Scientifics has promoted Eric C. Salzman to Chief Executive Officer. He most recently served the company as Chief Restructuring Officer, utilizing his significant experience in M&A, restructuring, growth and special situations investing. He has previously held executive positions with Monarch Capital Group, Coller Capital, LAMCO, and Lehman Brothers. He has also had numerous Directorships, Chairman and Advisor roles with various companies throughout his career. Currently, Eric serves as a Board Member for 8×8, as well as for several of Safeguard portfolio companies.
