Tom Polen to be Chairman of BD’s Board of Directors

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) will expand Tom Polen’s role to include Chairman of the Board of Directors beginning April 28, 2021. Tom is currently BD’s Chief Executive Officer and President. Tom has served in several leadership roles over the past 13 years, including Chief Operating Officer and Segment President of BD Medical. He succeeds Vincent A. Forlenza as Chairman, who announced he will retire from the company on the same date.
