
Robert H. Fish Becomes Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Healthcare
Genesis Healthcare has named Robert (“Bob”) H. Fish Chief Executive Officer. He will also continue to serve the company as Chairman of the Board moving forward. Bob is a healthcare industry veteran who has led several companies as Chief Executive Officer. He previously led Skilled Healthcare as Chief Executive Officer until it merged with Genesis Healthcare. He has also held the Chief Executive Officer role for such companies as Quorum Health, St. Joseph Health System in Sonoma County and Valleycare Health System. Bob also has significant experience with Genesis Healthcare, having served as Lead Director of Genesis HealthCare, as well as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Health Ventures. He succeeds George V. Hager, Jr., who announced he will retire but will remain with the company in a senior advisory role.
