Philippe Lopes-Fernandes Named Chief Business Officer for Ipsen

Ipsen will soon welcome Philippe Lopes-Fernandes to its leadership team as Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer, where he will report to Chief Executive Officer David Loew. Philippe will join Ipsen on October 1, 2020, from Merck KGaA, where he served as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Business Development and Alliance Management. In his new role, Philippe will oversee both business development and alliance management.

Ipsen is a French pharmaceutical company headquartered in Paris, France. It develops and markets medications used in oncology, neuroscience, and rare diseases along with consumer healthcare products. The company’s group net sales reached €2.6 billion in 2019, and it employs 5,800 people.
