Patrick Kaltenbach to Lead Mettler-Toledo as Chief Executive Officer

Mettler-Toledo International will bring Patrick Kaltenbach on as Chief Executive Officer on April 1, 2021. He currently serves as Becton Dickinson’s President of Life Sciences. He previously spent nearly two decades with Agilent Technologies in various executive level roles, ultimately as Senior Vice President of Agilent and President of the Life Science and Applied Markets Group. Earlier in his career, he served in research and development roles for Thermo Electron and Hewlett-Packard Company. He began his career as a QA Engineer with Robert Bosch. Patrick will supersede Olivier Filliol as Chief Executive Officer. Olivier will remain on the company’s Board of Directors while continuing to assist on marketing and organizational initiatives.

Mettler-Toledo is a leading global manufacturer of precision instruments and services for use in laboratories and manufacturing. The Columbus, OH-based company currently has a workforce of approximately 16,200 people. Mettler-Toledo generated $3.0 billion in net revenue for 2019.
