Dr. Giovanni Caforio to Join Stryker’s Board of Directors

Stryker Corporation’s Board of Directors has voted to expand its number of Directors from 10 to 11. Dr. Giovanni Cafori, M.D. has been appointed as the newest Member of the Board, filling the eleventh opening as of December 1, 2020. Giovanni has been with Bristol-Myers Squibb since 2000, and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. During his tenure with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Giovanni oversaw the company’s acquisition of Celgene. He previously held numerous leadership roles with Abbott Laboratories. He is also presently Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
