Vestas Makes Executive Team Changes

Due to the changing US wind market, Vestas has determined it needs to switch up its executive team as follows:

  • Eduardo Medina has been named President of Vestas North America. Eduardo previously served as President of Vestas Mediterranean. In this role, he will spearhead initiatives such as cost-competitiveness, phasing out the production tax credit (PTC), and climate crisis as addressed by states. Eduardo will relocate to the United States once American immigration restrictions due to Covid-19 are lifted.
  • Chris Brown will step down as President of Vestas North America, allowing Eduardo Medina to step into that role in his place. Chris is leaving Vestas to build his own company.
  • Javier Rodriguez Diez will succeed Eduardo Medina as President of Vestas Mediterranean. Javier will transition out of his current role as Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Key Account Management.
