
Shelly O’Neill Stoneman Promoted to Senior Vice President of Government Relations for Bae Systems
BAE Systems has elevated Shelly O’Neill Stoneman to Senior Vice President of Government Relations, beginning April 17, 2021. She will then oversee all government relations efforts, including the company’s relationships with Congress, the Department of Defense, state government leaders, and others. As a Member of the Senior Leadership Team, Shelly will report directly to Tom Arseneault, President and Chief Executive Officer. She will also join the company’s Board of Directors. She has served BAE Systems for nearly 8 years thus far, most recently as Vice President, Executive Branch and International Government Relations. Prior to that, she served the public sector in various capacities, including as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense/White House Liaison and Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Shelly will replace Frank Ruggiero, who will stay on as a Legacy Fellow for a period of time.
