Ravi Avalur Tapped as Head of Hero MotoCorp’s New Harley-Davidson Vertical in India

Hero MotoCorp has created a new Harley-Davidson vertical in India, which will be led by Ravi Avalur. Ravi will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Pawan Munjal. He brings strong automotive industry leadership expertise to this new role. He joins from Cooper, where he served as Head of Strategy and International Business. Prior to that, he was with Ducati India, most recently leading as Managing Director. Among his previous Consultant roles, Ravi served as Partner, Vice President, and Head of Tecnova’s Automotive Practice.

Hero Motocorp is an Indian multinational motorcycle and scooter manufacturer based in New Delhi, India. The company most recently generated $4.9 billion in annual sales, and currently employs approximately 8,500 people.
