Nordson Corporation Announces Board Changes

Nordson Corporation has announced the following appointments to its Board of Directors:

• Dr. John A. DeFord has been elected as a Director, as well as a Member of the Audit Committee. John is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Becton, Dickinson and Company. He is also a Member of the NuVasive Board of Directors.

• Jennifer A. Parmentier has been appointed as a Director and Member of the Audit Committee. She is currently Vice President and President of Motion Systems Group with Parker Hannifin.

Nordson Corporation has announced that the following Board Members will be resigning:

• Randolph W. Carson has announced his resignation from the Board of Directors and Committees.

• Lee C. Banks has announced his resignation from the Board of Directors and Committees.

• Joseph P. Keithley will resign from the Board of Directors, consistent with the company’s age retirement guidelines.
