Meritor Announces Executive Appointments

Meritor has announced the following executive changes, effective March 1, 2021:

  • Tim Bowes has been named Group Vice President and President of Industrial and North America Aftermarket. In this role, Tim will oversee procurement and global operational strategy. He will report directly to Chris Villavarayan, President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Meritor, Tim served as Senior Vice President, Executive Officer and President of Casting for American Axle. He previously led Transtar as President and Chief Executive Officer. He was also employed with Meritor earlier in his career in several roles, ultimately serving as Executive Officer and President of the Commercial Truck business.
  • Ken Hogan has been promoted to Senior Vice President and President of Truck, Europe and Asia Pacific. He will report directly to Chris Villavarayan, President and Chief Executive Officer. Throughout his tenure with the company thus far, Ken has held several executive positions, most recently as Vice President of the Truck business across China, Japan and the ASEAN. He previously had stints with Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte Consulting, and Detroit Diesel.
  • John Nelligan has been elevated to Senior Vice President and President of Truck, Americas. He will report directly to Chris Villavarayan, President and Chief Executive Officer. He has held multiple leadership roles with the company, most recently serving as Group Vice President of the Truck business for North America. He previously served in leadership positions with Harper Truck Centres, Western Star Trucking and Daimler Trucks North America.
