
Marc Llistosella to Lead Tata Motors as Chief Executive Officer
Tata Motors has named Marc Llistosella Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, commencing on July 1, 2021. He joins from a two-decade tenure with Daimler, where he most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation, as well as Head of Daimler Trucks Asia. He began his career with Mercedes-Benz AG. Marc succeeds Guenter Butschek, who is stepping down on June 30, 2021 in order to relocate to Germany.
Tata Motors is the biggest automobile manufacturing company in India with an extensive range of passenger, commercial and defense vehicles in its portfolio. Based in Mumbai, India, the company currently employs nearly 79,000 people. Tata Motors reported $43.7 billion in total revenues in fiscal year 2019.
